Travel Expenses

Significant travel expenses (e.g., air fare, rental car, meals and lodging, when required) will be discussed, and prepayment arrangements will be made with the parties, at least two weeks prior to the commencement of the mediation conference.  If the mediation is canceled or postponed, the parties will be responsible for their pro-rata share of change/cancellation fees.

Cancellation Policy

Notice of cancellation or postponement of a scheduled mediation conference must be received at least  24 hours prior to the scheduled commencement of the mediation conference.  Absent timely notification, the parties will be billed their pro rata share of travel expenses already incurred (e.g., airline change fees or penalties, etc.) and the minimum fee above.  There is no charge for postponement or cancellation in the greater Tampa Bay area if the mediation is rescheduled within 10 business days.

* Fee rate applies unless court order, agency order, or published panel/roster rates dictate a different rate, in which case that rate governs.  Fee is scheduled to change to $250/hour October 1, 2010.
